How to Maximize the Roomba Battery Life?

If you are smart, Caring Roomba has a heart, you will find it adjacent to the brush, behind a messy plastic box: the battery.

Actually, the Roomba battery is basically 12 NiMH batteries hung together to make one nickel ginormous-based battery. IRobot promises that the battery can run up to 2 hours, and based on our estimates, will last around 400 costs.

· Open two (2) screw on the battery door, then remove the door and battery.

· Install a replacement battery with a label and tab facing up.

Extend Life of Roomba Battery

It’s all fine and good, but depending on how the robot battery is taken care of, you can find yourself replacing it faster than you want. And for the same reason, you might find Roomba you are tired before the 2 hour sign.

· Clean the brush

Every time you are cleaning, debris like dust, hair and feathers get stuck in the brush. Of course they did — it was the work of Roomba. However, when the debris piled up, your robot works harder to rotate the brush, drain a valuable battery life.

At least once every week, remove your Roomba brush and clean it.

· Still filled and often used

For Roomba-based nickel-based batteries (not lithium ion), it is best to keep charging units every time you don’t use it. However, don’t let it on the douche for days — a lot of sufferers will keep the battery healthy.

· Dispose of the battery

To maintain battery capacity, it is important to flow it immediately. To do this, just run the emptiness until the battery is off, then fill the power to be full. For the best results, repeat this process several times.

· Keep staying cold

This advice applies to devices well outside your roar — computers and smartphones must comply with this policy too.

To increase battery life, save your robot in a cool and dry place. The unit must come out of direct sunlight, where heat can damage the battery. Likewise, be sure to give units of many respiratory spaces, away from other heat-producing equipment and electronics.

· Enter into holiday mode

If you go on vacation, place your Roomba in what can be called “vacation mode.” Doing it will make sure the battery remains healthy when not used for weeks at a time. (Or, you can schedule your roar to continue the deep sucker, even when you leave.)

To put your robot in vacation mode, fill the battery completely. Then, release by turning Roomba and removing the two screws that secure the battery door. See the video above for a more visual guide.

After the battery comes out, save it in a cool dry place, separate from the unit.

When you return from vacation, refill the full unit, and then run it to death. Then, you are free to return to your routine.
